In a landmark moment of unity and purpose, Vismay Run 2025 held in Ernakulam City on the 5th of October 2025, has officially entered the India Book of Records for the “Largest Gathering of Type-1 Diabetic Children Doing Yoga with CGM Installation and Insulin Administration.”
What began as an all-women’s 5K run turned into a powerful movement that transcended fitness inspiring awareness, compassion, and change. Organized by the Rotary Club of Tripunithura Royale, in association with the Type 1 Welfare Association Kerala and Vismay, the event brought together thousands of women from across Kerala who ran not just for themselves, but for a cause that touched countless young lives.
The event witnessed an extraordinary display of courage as Type-1 diabetic children came together to perform yoga and learn about Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) installation and insulin administration, setting a new record while spreading a message of health, hope, and empowerment.
Speaking about Vismay’s involvement, Joseph Paul George, Executive Director of Vismay, shared, “When we understood the scale of challenges that children with Type-1 Diabetes face every day, we wished to contribute in a meaningful way.
