Sawariya Group, one of India’s fastest-growing distribution houses, has announced the acquisition of Scentido, the country’s premier luxury niche perfume retailer. This marks the Group’s entry into the premium and niche beauty segment, reinforcing its growing focus on India’s luxury lifestyle market.
Sawariya Group plans to generate $15 million in annual revenue from its new perfumery vertical with this acquisition. The move is part of the company’s long-term strategy to diversify from its strong FMCG base into high-growth lifestyle categories, capitalising on India’s luxury consumption boom.
Founded with a vision to redefine perfume retail, Scentido operates 7 premium stores across major cities and airports, offering 30+ global perfume houses including Clive Christian, Roja London, Creed, and Escentric Molecules, among others.
Raman Agrawal, Founder & Director, Sawariya Group, said, “Scentido has redefined luxury fragrance retail in India. Making it part of Sawariya enables us to scale this vision and strengthen our position as a powerhouse in the distribution of lifestyle goods, both offline and online.”
The acquisition aligns with Sawariya Group’s broader ambition to become a leader in India’s luxury lifestyle and beauty market, leveraging its robust FMCG distribution network built over three decades.
