Active Clothing appoints Shivanee Shankar Dutt as CEO – New Business Initiatives

Apparel maker Active Clothing Co. Ltd. has appointed Shivanee Shankar Dutt as Chief Executive Officer – New Business Initiatives, a role aimed at opening up growth avenues beyond its current operations.

Shivanee will work from the company’s corporate office in Gurugram and report into a leadership team that includes Director Rajesh Mehra. Her remit covers spotting fresh business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and exploring collaborations and new brand launches.

She joins with over two decades of experience across fashion, retail, consumer brands and e-commerce. Her career has included stints and associations with brands and businesses including Levi’s, Spanx, Fossil, Amazon, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Myntra and Snapdeal, and she has worked in India, the US, Europe and the Asia-Pacific region.

Active Clothing, founded in 2002 and based in Mohali, Punjab, makes and distributes flat-knit sweaters, outerwear, and circular-knit casual and activewear for men, women and children.

The company’s financials have been on an upward trend. Revenue from operations rose to Rs 316.44 crore in FY26 from Rs 296.15 crore the year before, while net profit climbed to Rs 10.05 crore from Rs 8.45 crore.

Expansion is already under way on the distribution front. Active Clothing has won pan-India rights from Apparel Group to sell Levi’s, Nike, Jordan Kids and Ben Sherman Men’s through shop-in-shop formats in multi-brand stores. As per reports, the arrangement could add roughly Rs 100 crore in revenue over the next three to four years, depending on market conditions, store expansion and execution.
