Kaveri Lalchand, the designer who has previously showcased her work at Lakmé Fashion Week, has opened her eponymous label’s seventh retail location in India. The new store, located in New Delhi’s Khan Market, adds to her existing stores in Chennai, Mumbai, and Ahmedabad. The store was inaugurated by Sunil Sethi, Chairman of the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI).
Kaveri Lalchand, Founder of KAVERI, commented on the launch, stating, “Given Delhi’s deep appreciation for artisanal craftsmanship and rich textile heritage, it presents the perfect platform for showcasing Kaveri’s distinctive handcrafted linen designs, which have already garnered a loyal following in the city.”
The store, designed by Studio Incept under the direction of interior designer Nidhi Aggarwal, features a curated selection of handcrafted linen garments. The range includes everyday essentials like tunics, dresses, kaftans, and sarees as well as celebratory pieces such as sarees and co-ord sets. Kaveri’s focus on sustainability and craftsmanship is reflected in the store’s offerings, aligning with the brand’s mission to create ‘effortless styles that embody confidence, joy, and perception.’
The new store is located at 53B, Ground Floor, Khan Market, New Delhi. It operates from 10:30 am to 8:00 pm, Monday through Sunday.
