Ex-Being Human VP Preeti Chopra joins FabIndia, will lead retail expansion & projects

FabIndia has appointed Preeti Chopra as its Chief Retail Expansion and Projects head. With over two decades of experience in retail real estate and business development, Chopra will spearhead FabIndia’s retail footprint growth.

Before joining FabIndia, Chopra served as Vice President – Business Development (India & Global) at Being Human Clothing. She has also held key roles at Raymond Limited, where she led Pan-India retail real estate expansion for brands such as The Raymond Shop, Park Avenue, and Ethnix. Her tenure at Blackberrys Menswear and M&B Footwear further solidified her reputation as a leader in retail growth and negotiations.

With proven expertise in business strategy, brand footprint expansion, retail business development, along with effective negotiations for property acquisition via extensive relationship management, and industry network, Chopra is a valuable addition to FabIndia.

Known for her strategic acumen in sustainable process excellence and financial due diligence, Chopra brings a wealth of experience to FabIndia. Her leadership is expected to drive the brand’s retail expansion strategy, reinforcing its presence across key markets.

A Commerce graduate with a PG Diploma in Advertising & Public Relations, Preeti firmly believes that change is a constant force in evolution, necessitating a corresponding adaptation to stay relevant.

Having said this, she does admit to some weaknesses like getting caught up in small details, neglecting to find personal time (“low work life balance,” she says) and the inability to say no.
