Fashion and lifestyle brand The House of Rare has appointed Sorav Arora as its new Chief Growth Officer, effective September 2026. Based in Bengaluru, Arora will lead the company’s offline business verticals in an on-site role.
Arora brings over two decades of experience in retail, sales, and business leadership across some of India’s most prominent fashion and lifestyle companies. He joins The House of Rare from Pepe Jeans India Limited, where he spent five years and most recently served as Vice President of Sales, overseeing the direct-to-consumer verticals — including retail, large-format stores (LFS), and e-commerce — across India, Sri Lanka, and Nepal. During his tenure at Pepe Jeans, he also held the roles of Business Head for E-Com, LFS and Womenswear, and Business Head for Brick & Mortar, E-Com and LFR.
Prior to Pepe Jeans, Arora served as Head of Sales & Retail Operations at DLF Brands Private Limited, where he led pan-India retail and sales operations for eyewear brands Sunglass Hut and LensCrafters.
His earlier career includes a stint as Business Head for Exclusive Business Outlets (EBO) at Blackberrys Menswear, where he led the EBO and large-format retail verticals for over two years.
Arora spent six years at Benetton Group in progressively senior roles, culminating in Head of Retail and Senior General Manager, where he was responsible for the company’s owned retail and large-format store business and reported directly to Benetton’s group headquarters on revenue targets. Earlier at Benetton, as General Manager and then Senior Manager & Head of Key Accounts, he oversaw a retail vertical generating more than ₹200 crore in turnover across over 150 stores with major partners including Shoppers Stop, Lifestyle, Central, and Splash.
Arora began his career at Reebok, where he spent nearly five years in sales and business development roles, including managing channel partnerships and market development, before also handling sales and business development for Rockport across Delhi NCR and West India.
