Gargi by PNGS adds four new locations in April, plans 20 stores for FY27

Gargi by P N Gadgil & Sons has opened four new points of sale this April, taking its fashion jewellery brand into new urban markets across India — including its first outlet in the national capital.

The four new locations span Kolkata, Gwalior, Amravati, and New Delhi, and reflect the brand’s strategy of targeting aspirational consumers in cities that remain underserved by organised fashion jewellery retail.

The most significant of the four openings is a kiosk at Pacific Mall in Netaji Subhash Place, New Delhi. It marks Gargi’s first presence in Delhi.

In Kolkata, the brand has opened an Exclusive Brand Outlet at Mall of City Centre Salt Lake in Bidhannagar, catering to the township’s professional and residential demographic. A kiosk has gone live at DB Mall in Gwalior, extending the brand’s footprint in Madhya Pradesh, while a new store at Tapadia City Centre in Amravati deepens its presence in Maharashtra’s Vidarbha region.

The April openings add to a network that closed FY26 at 126 points of sale across 65 cities and 21 states. The brand operates through a mix of Exclusive Brand Outlets, Shop-in-Shop formats, and franchise stores, and has set a target of 20 new openings in FY27.

The brand’s format choices are deliberate: full-format EBOs in upscale catchments like Salt Lake, and capital-efficient kiosks in high-transit hubs like Netaji Subhash Place and Gwalior, which allow the brand to build consumer familiarity ahead of larger investments.
