Garmin opens exclusive experience store in Delhi at Connaught Place

GPS and wearables giant Garmin has launched an Exclusive brand store at Connaught Place in New Delhi, its latest move to deepen its retail footprint in India. Situated at No. 6, C Block, Middle Circle, the store is designed less as a conventional retail outlet and more as a hands-on experience centre, where customers can explore the company’s full range of GPS-enabled performance technologies.

The store carries Garmin’s complete smartwatch lineup — from the rugged Fenix series built for extreme endurance athletes, to the training-focused Forerunner, the outdoors-ready Instinct, and the premium MARQ luxury collection. Everyday wellness devices from the Venu and Vívoactive series round out the wearables offering.

Beyond watches, the space extends into Garmin’s broader technology ecosystem. Shoppers can explore precision golf tools including launch monitors and simulators, indoor cycling gear from the Tacx range — including the flagship Tacx Neo Bike Plus — as well as handheld GPS units and marine navigation systems.

Commenting on the launch, Deepak Raina, Director, AMIT GPS & Navigation LLP, said, “Today’s consumers are moving beyond basic tracking to solutions that deliver accuracy, consistency, and actionable performance insights. With this Exclusive store, we are creating an environment where customers can experience how Garmin’s technologies operate as an integrated ecosystem, supporting everything from everyday fitness to high-performance training and outdoor exploration”.

AMIT GPS & Navigation LLP, which has distributed Garmin products in India since 2015, is part of the UAE-headquartered AMIT International Group — a conglomerate with over four decades of experience in marine and land technologies across the Middle East and Southern Asia.

The New Delhi opening is part of a wider retail push by Garmin in India, which spans offline touchpoints including Garmin Exclusive stores, Reliance Digital, Helios Watch, and Malabar Watches, alongside a strong online presence on Amazon, Flipkart, and the Garmin India website. The company has also been building out ecosystem partnerships in the country, most recently through a tie-up with Giant Bicycles targeting the growing cycling and performance community.

Garmin, which employs approximately 19,900 people across 34 countries, has been a fixture in the performance technology space for over three decades, with products spanning fitness, outdoor, aviation, marine, and automotive sectors.
