Value fashion retailer V2 Retail Ltd has appointed industry veteran Aashish Kataria as its new National Head of Business Development.
Kataria, who officially stepped into the role this February, brings over three decades of high-level experience in retail operations, real estate acquisition, and franchise management to one of India’s fastest-growing value retail chains.
Kataria’s appointment comes after a highly successful five-and-a-half-year tenure at Vishal Mega Mart Limited, where he served as Associate General Manager of Real Estate.
His professional journey is a roadmap of the Indian retail evolution:
- V2 Retail Ltd (Present): Leading national business development and site acquisition strategies.
- Vishal Mega Mart / TPG Wholesale (2011–2026): Over 14 years across various leadership roles, including heading Franchisee Business operations and the Operations Support Group.
- Nirula’s (1995–2006): A foundational 11-year stint as Area Manager, where he honed his skills in multi-unit management and regional operations.
