Reliance Industries’ sustainable fashion arm R|Elan® has unveiled the seventh edition of its iconic Earth Tee in the celebration of World Environment Day. The collection is created in collaboration with celebrated designer Namrata Joshipura. More than a fashion statement, Earth Tee 7.0 is a call to action — blending sustainability, innovation, and environmental impact into one limited-edition garment.
Crafted from R|Elan® GreenGold™ fabric, the Earth Tee 7.0 is made from recycled PET bottles collected at Lakmé Fashion Week 2025, held at Mumbai’s Jio World Convention Centre. This bold circular design initiative reinforces R|Elan®’s commitment to turning post-consumer waste into purposeful fashion.
The Earth Tee will be made available to the public for the first time ever in response to the rising demand from India’s growing community of eco-conscious consumers.
The tees will be sold exclusively through the SankalpTaru Foundation, a leading environmental NGO. 100% of proceeds through the sales will fund restoration drives across the country – each purchase of the Earth Tee will support the planing of three trees.
Moreover, the packaging for the Earth Tee is multi-use and can be repurposed as a plant container. Its tags and wrappers come embedded with seeds — ready to be sown into the soil. Every element of this product is built to reduce waste and promote environmental restoration.
Previously available only to a closed group of influencers and environmental advocates, Earth Tee 7.0 marks the beginning of a wider movement. This edition calls on individuals everywhere to #WearTheChange and take a tangible step toward a greener India.
“Be the part of the movement. You won’t just be wearing a tee — you’ll be growing a forest,” R|Elan® said in its campaign call.
