United Colors of Benetton launches new store in Bengaluru

Italian fashion brand United Colors of Benetton United Colors of Benetton has launched its latest store in Bengaluru, in the vibrant Jayanagar area. The store, which was officially inaugurated on May 3, 2024, opened with the brand’s Spring Summer 2024 collection from trend-setters to classics, the store showcases a diverse array of key pieces for kinds of consumers, helping them radiate their unique sense of style and personality.

The store covers an area of approximately 3,000 sq. mts. Its atmosphere is true to Benetton’s roots – refined and warm. It doubles up as an experiential store featuring sophisticated styling options and in-store experiences – a hub for events and activities.


Talking about the new store, Ramprasad Sridharan, CEO & MD, United Colors Of Benetton India said, “Bangalore has always been a key market for the brand and we are proud to expand and evolve our presence here with our new store. Jayanagar is known for its diverse culture and style, and we look forward to building a larger community of fashion enthusiasts within the area by providing quality products for all ages.”

Andhra Pradesh Store Launch

Just last month, Benetton launched its largest store in the state of Andhra Pradesh, according to a social media post by an industry official. Located at PVP Mall, Vijayawada, the store is spread over 3,000 sq. ft. of retail space.

“Thrilled to announce the opening of the largest Benetton store in Andhra Pradesh, at PVP Mall, Vijayawada,” Rohit Jhamnani, Managing Director of K J Fashions & Designers, said in a LinkedIn post. K J Fashions & Designers is the master franchisee and distributor for Benetton India for Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Kerala.

Benetton Group was established in 1965 by Luciano Benetton and opened its first store in Veneto, Northern region of Italy. In 1969, the company opened its first store outside of Italy, located in Paris. Today, it produces over 150 million garments a year for more than 6,000 Benetton stores in 120 countries, according to

Benetton made its debut in India back in 1991, and now operates over 400 stores across more than 100 cities nationwide.

The brand’s commitment to women empowerment has always been a central feature of the brand that, through its communications campaigns and collaborations with leading non-profit organizations, makes the public reflect on women empowerment of universal relevance.

The group plans for the future with a watchful eye to the environment – from sourcing almost 60% cotton sustainably, to maintaining human dignity in its work force and in working towards a transformative society.
