Sisters Archana Khosla Burman and Niharika Khosla Sehgal have launched ZONE, a premium activewear brand for children aged 4–14, positioning it as India’s first such brand dedicated exclusively to the segment.
The Mumbai-based brand offers performance clothing designed around children’s physical activity, featuring lightweight, breathable, stretch fabrics built for movement, shape retention, and durability. Collections target children participating in organised sports, fitness programmes, and active play.
While the activewear market has witnessed significant innovation for adults over the past decade, children’s apparel has largely remained focused on casualwear and occasionwear, with limited attention given to functionality and movement, the brand said.
Speaking about the launch, Archana Khosla Burman, Co-Founder, ZONE, said, “As parents, we found ourselves constantly searching for apparel that could truly support the way children move. There were plenty of fashion choices, but very little created specifically for active kids. ZONE was born from that gap.”
Niharika Khosla Sehgal, Co-Founder, ZONE, added, “We wanted to create apparel that feels effortless to wear, performs through every activity, and gives children the freedom to move without distraction.”
Archana brings over two decades of experience working with entrepreneurs, consumer businesses, and growth-stage ventures, bringing deep expertise in strategy, brand building, and business growth. Niharika, on the other hand, leads the brand’s product vision and innovation, with more than two decades of experience across apparel design, sourcing, manufacturing, and product development under her belt.
