Italian footwear label Rosso Brunello has unveiled its Autumn/Winter 2026 edit, introducing two collections that take opposing approaches to formal footwear: one built around handwoven craftsmanship, the other around structured, hardware-led design.
The Weave Collection puts handwoven leather at the centre of its construction. Each upper is patterned to stretch with the foot’s natural movement while allowing airflow that a solid leather upper would not permit. Underneath, layers of memory foam provide cushioning without adding visible bulk to the silhouette. The range includes monk straps and loafers positioned for settings where close attention to detail is expected.
Within the same collection, the Tuscany Weave model takes a more traditional route. A tasselled, slip-on design, it is built for extended wear while retaining a formal edge, and is available in coffee, navy, and tan — colourways intended to move between formal and smart-casual settings.
The second line, the Buckle Up Collection, offers a firmer, more structured take on formal dressing. Adjustable buckles allow wearers to personalise the fit, while a scratch-resistant metallic coating is designed to keep the hardware looking new over time. A padded, flexible sole underpins the range, aimed at wearers who need comfort across long days. The collection’s monk straps and moccasin styles are pitched at settings spanning corporate presentations to formal evening events, with the moccasin offered as a relaxed option for weekends and casual-Friday dressing.
Taken together, the two collections represent what the brand describes as two distinct expressions of formality — one built to move and breathe through the day, the other built to hold its structure. Rosso Brunello says the emphasis across both lines is on construction that performs over time, rather than design that is judged only on first impression.
