Renowned fitness icon Milind Soman has officially joined forces with sports brand PUMA as its Running Ambassador, marking his first-ever partnership with a performance wear brand.
Beginning his running journey at the age of 38, Soman has advocated for injury-free and safe running practices across various terrains, alternating between barefoot running and shoes as required. As part of this partnership, Soman will endorse PUMA’s high-performance NITRO range of running shoes, known for their lightweight design and exceptional cushioning, speed, traction, and stability.
Among the NITRO range, Soman’s favorite is the Deviate NITRO 2, recognized for its roomy toe box fit, providing support and comfort suitable for larger feet.
PUMA, known for its association with sporting greats like Virat Kohli, Usain Bolt, Neymar Jr, and MC Mary Kom, welcomes Soman into its celebrated lineup of athletes.

The partnership was announced through a campaign film showcasing PUMA’s NITRO shoes, highlighting the challenges of running and the enhanced experience provided by PUMA footwear.
As part of the collaboration, Soman will endorse PUMA’s NITRO range of footwear and apparel, contribute to the growth of the running community, and represent the brand at top running events and campaigns. Additionally, he will serve as the face of PUMA’s men’s bodywear.

Soman, known for inspiring countless fitness enthusiasts, covers an impressive average of 300 kilometers every month as an active runner.
A recent survey by PUMA India and Nielsen Sports revealed running as the most actively participated sport and fitness-related activity by adults in India in 2023, indicating the sport’s growing popularity in the country.
