OHRIA Ayurveda launches India’s first Ghee Collagen sleeping mask

Indian skincare brand OHRIA Ayurveda has launched a new overnight skincare product it calls a first for the Indian market: a Ghee Collagen Sleeping Mask built around Shata Dhauta Ghrita, a centuries-old Ayurvedic preparation in which cow’s ghee is washed one hundred times until it becomes a light, cooling balm.

The product, called the Age Delay Night Ritual, carries the tagline ‘India’s First, Ayurveda’s Oldest.’ OHRIA describes it as a gel-ghee hybrid, designed to give skin the nourishment associated with ghee without the heaviness or greasy feel of typical oil-based night treatments.

The brand says the formula is based on Rasayana, the Ayurvedic branch focused on deep nourishment and rejuvenation rather than surface hydration. OHRIA claims the mask works with the skin’s natural overnight repair process. Stated benefits include support for natural collagen production, better hydration, calming of heat-stressed skin, reduced appearance of pigmentation and post-acne marks, and improved firmness and glow over time.

The formula includes gotu kola-derived exosomes, peptides, amino acids, and sugarcane-derived hyaluronic acid, along with a herbal blend that makes up 61 percent of the product. That blend includes manjistha, sariva, sandalwood, rose petals, licorice, and gotu kola, ingredients traditionally used in Ayurveda for skin renewal, calming inflammation, and brightening. The brand says the texture is breathable and works for all skin types, including sensitive and acne-prone skin.

OHRIA is positioning the launch around what it calls “Indian Glass Skin,” its term for radiant skin built through steady overnight repair rather than short-term fixes.

Rajni Ohri, founder of OHRIA Ayurveda, said the brand set out to bring one of Ayurveda’s oldest skincare formulations into a modern product. She described the mask as “The Overnight Eraser,” positioned to counter the visible effects of daily stress, dehydration, dullness and fatigue while building toward stronger, more resilient skin over time. She linked the launch directly to the principle of Rasayana and the brand’s broader push to make Ayurvedic wellness relevant for today’s consumers.

OHRIA Ayurveda positions itself as a natural personal care company that merges Ayurvedic tradition with contemporary formulation science, developing skincare and haircare products rooted in authenticity, purity and sustainability.
