Lacoste has opened its latest boutique at the Oberoi Mall in Goregaon, Mumbai. The store offers a curated selection of Lacoste apparel, sneakers, bags, and accessories, evoking Lacoste’s vision of blending style, quality, and comfort.
In an earlier interview with IMAGES Business of Fashion’s Surabhi Khosla, Rajesh Jain, MD & CEO Lacoste India talked about his brand’s expansion plans in the country, stating, “In as far as physical presence is concerned, since we are a premium brand, it is very important for us to be located in premium developments since these are places that the people who shop with us frequently. We usually look at premium malls and high street locations which have like-minded brand adjacencies that enhance our brand value.”
As of September 2024, Lacoste operated over 50 points of sale and is pursuing an accelerated expansion strategy aimed at nearly doubling its locations over the next three to four years. The brand is also introducing its latest global concept for interior fit-outs, which will be implemented in all new points of sale in India.
The new opening resonates with the brand’s accelerated expansion strategy, including making its current points of sale much bigger in size with the implementation of the latest global concept of interiors.
