La Martina opens 1st flagship store in Mumbai

Argentine luxury lifestyle brand La Martina has officially opened its first flagship store in India at Mumbai’s upscale Palladium Mall. Located on the second floor and spanning 1,200 sq ft, the store offers a unique blend of polo heritage and modern design, marking a key milestone for the brand’s global expansion.

Founded in Buenos Aires in 1985, La Martina has a presence in over 60 countries. The brand is known for its deep connection to the sport of polo and its commitment to craftsmanship, elegance, and authenticity. The new Mumbai store reflects this legacy through interiors inspired by traditional Argentine polo clubs, using materials like saddle leather, brushed brass, and wood to create an immersive retail experience.

“Mumbai is a city that, much like Buenos Aires, thrives on contrasts—where heritage walks hand-in-hand with innovation” said Adrian Simonetti, La Martina Co-founder & President.

Designed by 02JUNE Design Studios + Few Steps Ahead, the store’s layout and aesthetic capture the spirit of polo. Elements like riding boots, mallets, and handcrafted textures aim to create a refined yet rooted environment for shoppers.
