Killer Jeans parent KKCL forays into ethnicwear with Punya

Kewal Kiran Clothing Limited (KKCL), the homegrown apparel company behind leading fashion brands such as Killer, LawmanPg3, Integriti, and Easies, has entered the ethnicwear segment with the launch of its new brand, Punya.

With this new venture, KKCL aims to make Indian clothing a part of everyday life—beyond festive occasions—by offering contemporary ethnicwear that blends traditional silhouettes with modern fits and comfort-driven fabrics.

Punya reflects how India’s fashion story is evolving. Ethnicwear is no longer limited to festivals; it’s becoming a part of daily life. Through Punya, we want to make Indian wear relevant for everyday use—stylish, easy, and proudly made in India,” said Kewalchand P Jain, Chairman, KKCL.

Positioned as a modern interpretation of Indian craftsmanship, Punya caters to consumers who take pride in their roots while embracing a global outlook. The collection features styles suited for work, casual gatherings, and festive occasions, with an emphasis on breathable materials and thoughtful detailing.

The brand will be available through KKCL’s nationwide retail network, multi-brand outlets, and leading e-commerce platforms, ensuring accessibility across diverse markets.

The launch coincides with KKCL’s record Q2 FY26 performance, with revenues rising 14.9% year-on-year to Rs 354.1 crore and EBITDA up 11% to Rs 71 crore, maintaining a healthy 20% margin. For the first half of FY26, revenues stood at Rs 587.8 crore, marking a 27.9% year-on-year growth.

By introducing Punya, KKCL continues to expand its portfolio of strong, differentiated brands that merge Indian culture with modern design sensibilities, reinforcing its position as a leading force in India’s fashion landscape.
