Geetanjali Salon, a premium Indian salon chain, announced plans to expand into Raipur, Guwahati, Patiala and Jammu as part of its 2026 growth strategy. The company will also open new outlets in Aerocity, Chandigarh and Gurugram.
Founded in 1989 with its first outlet in Green Park, New Delhi, Geetanjali Salon currently operates more than 200 salons across over 50 Indian cities.
The company has also signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Guinot, a French skincare brand, to bring its products and treatments to India. Under the partnership, Geetanjali Salon will set up dedicated Guinot Skin Clinics within select salon locations, offering skincare treatments and consultations alongside its existing hair and beauty services.
The brand said it plans to expand its service offerings to include skincare treatments, bridal and destination makeup, and hair colouring and styling services. It will also hold periodic branded events, referred to as Kérastase Days and Guinot Days, at which clients can access consultations tied to those partner brands.
Geetanjali Salon operates a training academy for staff and says it applies standard operating procedures and conducts quality audits across its locations. The company also said it supports tree-planting drives and works with non-governmental organisations on community programmes.
According to the company, it employs more than 5,000 trained professionals across its network.
