Abhishek Sharma has been promoted to Group Vice President – Supply Chain at Blackberrys Menswear, the company announced this week. Sharma is a supply chain and commercial leader with nearly two decades of cross-industry experience.
In his expanded role, Sharma will oversee the brand’s end-to-end supply chain function, including warehousing, manufacturing operations and expansion, logistics, planning, sourcing and procurement, commercial operations, quality assurance, and overall supply chain strategy. His mandate will center on driving operational efficiency, enabling scalable business growth, pursuing cost optimization initiatives, and strengthening integration across the value chain.
The promotion caps a steady rise within Blackberrys, where Sharma has spent nearly seven years. He joined the company in November 2019 as Head of SCM, before taking on the additional responsibility of Brand Head for Design, Product Merchandising and Business Planning in 2023. Most recently, he served as Head of Supply Chain Management and Commercial, a role in which he led sourcing, planning, manufacturing, logistics, merchandising, and business planning across the company’s formalwear and casualwear categories.
Prior to Blackberrys, Sharma founded and led AaMeeGo Planners, a corporate services venture focused on leadership summits and capability-building programs.
His earlier career spans senior sourcing and supply chain roles at Gap Inc., where he served as Director of Category Strategy and Global Woven Strategy Lead; Cairn Energy, as Manager of Strategic Sourcing; Wipro Consulting Services; Bennett Coleman & Co.; and LG Electronics India.
