Casual menswear brand U.S. Polo Assn. continues to strengthen its retail presence in South India with the launch of its new store in Puducherry. Spanning approximately 1,700 sq. ft., the store marks the brand’s first New Identity store, bringing its refreshed retail design language and an elevated in-store experience to the city.
The store, located on Mahatma Gandhi Road, stocks menswear and footwear from the brand’s Autumn-Winter 2026 collection. Featured stories include Varsity, Indigo, Corduroy, Denims and Shirts, alongside seasonal styles.
The shirt display brings the brand’s range of shirts together in a single space. The company said it was designed with South India’s strong preference for shirts in mind, aiming to make it easier for shoppers to browse the category.
On the first floor, the Resort Wear Wall is built around vacation and resort wardrobes, grouping linen shirts, shorts and caps. The launch also featured interactive elements for customers.
Amitabh Suri, Chief Executive Officer, U.S. Polo Assn. India, said, “Puducherry is a distinctive market with a strong connection to leisure, travel and contemporary lifestyle, making it an exciting market for us to introduce our New Identity store format. With the introduction of the Shirt Bar and our Resort Wear Wall, we are bringing new retail experiences that are designed to make the store more engaging and relevant to how consumers shop today. The launch also reflects our continued focus on strengthening our presence across South India while creating spaces that bring together the heritage of U.S. Polo Assn. with a more contemporary retail experience.”
The company said the launch is part of its broader effort to evolve its retail presence across India through new formats and experiences.
