ZOYA, the luxury jewellery atelier of the Tata Group, has launched a new High Jewellery collection, Her Again, that draws on India’s spices as carriers of memory and ritual. The collection follows the journey of a woman returning to herself, and features sitarist and composer Anoushka Shankar as the face of its campaign.
The collection builds its palette around the colours of the spice rack: the golden warmth of turmeric, the deep red of mace, cardamom green, and the richness of saffron and rose. ZOYA has translated these into rubellite, emerald, Madeira citrine, Orissa rose garnet, golden heliodor and yellow sapphire, set in intricate compositions that the atelier says took thousands of hours of craftsmanship to complete.
The campaign is anchored by Shankar, an internationally acclaimed sitarist who has built a musical language across cultures and genres while carrying her Indian heritage into her work.
Speaking about the collection, Anoushka Shankar said, “What I love about ZOYA is the way it takes what we inherit and allows it to evolve through colour, gemstones and craft. I’ve always believed you can be deeply rooted in a culture and still speak to the world in a way that feels relevant, simply through the lens of your own experience. ZOYA captures that beautifully, creating pieces that feel timeless in spirit, yet fresh, inventive and entirely their own.”
Arun Narayan, Chief Executive Officer – Jewellery, Titan Company Limited, said, “India offers an extraordinary source of inspiration for jewellery design, from its rich cultural heritage and vibrant colours to the materials and craftsmanship that have shaped its visual language over centuries. At ZOYA, we see an opportunity to reinterpret these influences through a distinctive design lens, creating High Jewellery where meaning and emotional resonance are as integral as rarity and artistry. Her Again reflects this approach, drawing from India’s richness and diversity while expressing it in a way that is contemporary, personal, and unmistakably our own. Anoushka Shankar embodies this vision through a creative journey that has continually found new and imaginative expressions of her Indian influences, bringing them to global audiences with authenticity and artistic depth.”
Pieces from the collection
Eternal Ember Necklace. The necklace uses 748 stones and 102 individually crafted elements, made over 2,112 hours into a fluid, three-dimensional design. A 5.4-carat cabochon Mandarin Garnet at the centre recalls turmeric and marigold blooms, and is surrounded by sapphire, rubellite and citrine. Diamonds set within the sculptural forms catch the light as the piece moves.
- Eternal Ember Earrings. Two rubellites totalling 7 carats, set with diamonds in intricate settings, take their inspiration from the fiery depth of mace.
- Afterglow Ring. A 2.7-carat rubellite sits in custom-cut matte rock crystal, framed by sculptural tendrils inspired by mace. Zambian emeralds echo the form of cardamom, and stone-on-stone craftsmanship gives the ring its layered depth.
- Unbound Bangle. The bangle combines 6.4 carats of crimson rubellites with Orissa rose garnets and diamonds. Its forms are shaped by clove buds and unfurling mace, with fine fretwork and sculpted detailing.
- Amber Bliss Earrings. Twenty-two carats of Madeira citrine, accented with pink tourmalines, sapphires and diamonds, evoke the warmth of turmeric. Marigold-inspired forms frame the citrines, and an open-back setting lets light pass through the stones.
- Amber Bliss Necklace. A 38-carat Madeira citrine takes centre stage, surrounded by pink tourmalines, orange and yellow sapphires, and diamonds, with sculpted marigold forms creating a fluid silhouette. The piece took over 1,000 hours of master craftsmanship, which ZOYA says brings together generations of Indian jewellery expertise and its contemporary design language.
