Fashion retail industry veteran Neelaksh Dhir has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Sparsh India Couture, an Indian luxury retailer known for operating luxury fashion and kidswear retail platforms like Little Tags Luxury.
Sparsh operates more than 45 brands and is among the largest players in India’s ultra-luxury kidswear segment, carrying labels such as Dolce & Gabbana, Moschino, Philipp Plein and Karl Lagerfeld. The company is also expanding into standalone adult luxury retail with mono-brand stores for Elie Saab, Off-White and Judith Leiber, and is preparing to launch Nautica Kids as a new brand.
In his new role, Dhir will hold end-to-end P&L responsibility across Sparsh’s five business verticals: multi-brand luxury kidswear under the Little Tags Luxury banner, a private-label portfolio, the institutional school uniform business, mono-brand adult luxury retail, and the upcoming Nautica Kids launch. His mandate spans brand portfolio strategy, licensing negotiations, omnichannel retail expansion, and organizational design across the group’s commercial, retail, brand and digital functions.
Dhir joins Sparsh after a 17-month run as founder and principal consultant at RetailNiti Brand Strategy LLP, where he advised D2C and consumer brands on go-to-market, franchise and channel strategy, including work on a Myntra sub-license acquisition.
Previously, he served as Assistant Vice President at Reliance Retail, where he spent five and a half years building a new business-to-business-to-consumer model from scratch, piloting it with 16 stores before it was rolled out nationally as Fashion World by Trends, now operating 50-plus stores.
Earlier stops in his career include Vice President of Sales & Operations at Breakbounce; Distribution Head for footwear brands including Cole Haan and Johnston & Murphy at Arvind Sports Lifestyle; and a four-year run at Page Industries heading sales and marketing for Speedo. Other stints include Neva Garments, Blackberrys Menswear and Levi Strauss & Co.
Announcing the move, Dhir said his focus at Sparsh will be to sharpen the brand portfolio, scale the store network, and position the company as a leader in India’s luxury retail sector.
