Martha Calvo, the Miami-based jewellery label known for its sculptural chains and bold wearable designs, has made its official entry into the Indian market through Tanzire — the country’s first demi-fine jewellery marketplace.
The brand has built a following among celebrity clients including Dua Lipa, Kylie Jenner, and Bad Bunny, and has been unavailable in India through any official channel until now.
Suhani Batwara, Founder and Creative Director, Tanzire noted “Martha Calvo has always been a personal favourite — I used to pick up pieces on every US trip because there was simply no other way to get them in India. Bringing the brand to Tanzire feels like a full circle moment.
The collection is anchored in self-expression — pieces designed to be layered, mixed, and worn without rules. Motifs draw from protective symbols, marine life, and two-tone metal finishes. Many designs feature removable pendants and modular elements built to transition from daytime to evening wear.
Technically, the pieces are constructed in brass and stainless steel with gold or rhodium plating and micron-finish coatings intended to improve longevity. Select styles incorporate recycled materials and are produced in small batches, a nod to the brand’s stance against overproduction.
The edit was developed with input from stylists Priyanka Kapadia and Aastha Sharma, and shaped around Tanzire’s existing community. Key styles include protection chokers with coloured stones, marine-inspired earrings, and statement lariats designed for layering.
Pricing begins at Rs 10,000, maintained at parity with the brand’s international website. Suhani sees the timing as deliberate. “The Indian customer is ready for this. She’s more experimental, more expressive, and far more confident in her taste than she’s ever been.”
The launch adds to Tanzire’s growing portfolio of international brands and positions the platform as a destination for design-led jewellery sitting between fast fashion and traditional fine jewellery.
