Luxury occasionwear and couture brand KALKI Fashion has expanded its retail footprint with the opening of a 4,000 sq. ft flagship store in Chennai, marking its entry into one of India’s most culturally rooted fashion markets.
Chennai’s enduring legacy of Kanjeevaram silks, temple architecture, and refined aesthetics makes it a strategic and symbolic addition to the brand’s growing retail network.
The newly launched flagship is designed as an immersive retail experience, with dedicated sections for bridal wear, couture, menswear, pre-wedding collections, occasionwear, and accessories. The interiors feature warm hues, rich textures, and handcrafted artisan installations, creating an environment that allows each garment to be showcased with intent and detail.
Experiential elements such as private bridal suites, a couture lounge, collaborative styling areas, and KALKI’s signature mirror corner elevate the store beyond traditional retail, offering a more personalised and intimate shopping journey.
The Chennai store houses KALKI’s complete portfolio, including bridal and couture lehengas, sangeet and cocktail ensembles, sarees that range from traditional embroideries to contemporary silhouettes, and menswear spanning sherwanis and Indo-western styles. The assortment is complemented by accessories such as jewellery, potlis, footwear, veils, and safas.
Adding to its exclusivity, the store will feature limited-edition couture pieces, debut colourways, and a capsule collection curated specifically for South Indian brides.
