Fashion q-comm startup Zulu Club secures $250,000 in pre-seed funding

Fashion quick commerce startup Zulu Club has raised $250,000 in pre-seed funding from early-stage venture capital firm TDV Partners.

Founded in 2024, Zulu Club, unlike its competitors, works on a differentiated model. The platform allows users to order Try-at-Home kits—containing 4–5 curated fashion items—from nearby malls and outlets, delivered within 100 minutes. Shoppers can try the products at home before making a purchase. This helps eliminate guesswork and hence, reduce return rates.

“Most online fashion platforms are built for speed and variety—but that often comes at the cost of experience and confidence. We’re building Zulu Club to reintroduce trust and experience into fashion shopping, especially for millennial consumers who crave convenience and personalization,” said Adarsh Bhatia, Founder of Zulu Club.

Zulu Club’s model aims to solve key pain points in fashion e-commerce such as high returns and low profitability. By offering live assistance, curated selections, and cross-sell opportunities, the platform enhances average order values while delivering a more tactile, experience-first approach to shopping.

Currently operational in Gurgaon, the brand is focused on urban millennials and Gen Z consumers. With the latest app update, Zulu Club has improved the user journey, logistics coordination, and customer support for a faster, smoother experience.

With this funding, Zulu Club will expand across key neighborhoods in Delhi NCR, strengthen partnerships with mall retailers and outlet stores, and invest further in logistics, personalisation, and customer engagement.
