Zara reopens flagship store at Delhi’s Tagore Garden

Zara has reopened its flagship store at Pacific Mall, Tagore Garden, unveiling an expanded retail space designed around the brand’s latest global store concept.

Spread across 19,300 sq. ft. on two floors, the store offers an extensive range of collections for women and men, along with newly dedicated spaces such as Zara Athleticz. The reopening reinforces Zara’s focus on retail innovation, blending fashion, architecture, sustainability, and advanced technology to deliver an elevated shopping experience.

New Concept & Design

Conceived by Zara’s Architecture Studio, the redesigned store emphasizes a boutique-style shopping environment with curated spaces, unique furniture, and refined interiors. The design uses wood and steel finishes, contrasting textures, and advanced lighting systems to create a warm, intimate atmosphere while highlighting collections.

Tech-Enabled Shopping

The Pacific Mall store integrates advanced technology to enable a seamless omnichannel experience. Customers can browse real-time inventory, locate products quickly, and pick up online orders in-store. Key features include:

  • Four assisted checkout zones with accessible payment stations

  • Four automated return stations for faster, hassle-free returns

  • A clothing collection container to extend the life of garments through a charity partner

Sustainability & Efficiency

Aligned with Inditex’s sustainability goals, the store is equipped with energy-efficient heating and cooling systems, optimized LED lighting, and is connected to the company’s Inergy platform. This system monitors and manages energy consumption in real-time, reducing environmental impact while maintaining a premium retail environment.

Zara & Inditex

Zara is part of the Inditex Group, which also owns Pull&Bear, Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Stradivarius, Oysho, and Zara Home. Inditex operates across 98 markets with more than 200 online platforms and has committed to achieving climate neutrality by 2040.

In India, Zara now operates 24 stores, including the newly reopened flagship at Pacific Mall.

This year also marks Zara’s 50th anniversary. The first Zara store opened in A Coruña, Spain, on May 9, 1975, by founder Amancio Ortega — introducing a new model of customer-driven, accessible fashion. In 2025, the brand continues to evolve with a philosophy that merges digital convenience and immersive in-store experiences.
