Superkicks has unveiled its new flagship store in Mumbai, marking a major milestone seven years after opening its first store in Khar. The brand’s latest outpost in Santacruz West spans over 2,800 sq. ft. and is designed to be more than a sneaker store — a cultural destination that blends streetwear, creativity, and community.
The new space, designed as a ‘Fusion Lab,’ combines Bandra’s colonial architecture with modern street culture. Featuring monochrome blue interiors inspired by Mumbai’s seas and streets, the store draws from Portuguese and Gothic architectural elements, including mosaic tile accents, arched windows, and a sweeping staircase. Local artists will also add murals and installations to further root the store in its neighborhood’s creative spirit.
The flagship offers a curated mix of international and homegrown streetwear labels. Global icons like Nike, Adidas, Puma, New Balance, and Asics share space with cult brands such as Carhartt, Aries, Represent, and FDMTL, as well as Indian innovators like Jaywalking, Farak, Thaely, and Almost Gods. Superkicks’ own in-house apparel, which has grown with seasonal drops and collaborations with brands such as Budweiser and Zomaland, is also featured.
Nisha Lulla, CMO & Co-founder of Superkicks, said, “Our new Mumbai flagship has been our most ambitious project yet – our labour of love. This is an ode to the city where we opened our first store, and to our community who have supported us through all the highs and lows of our journey so far. Mumbai was our first home turf and we couldn’t wait to give it a space which matched its spirit and stature. It’s surreal to see our vision finally come to life.”
Sangeet Paryani, CEO & Co-founder of Superkicks, added, “The last 7 years have been a journey of self-discovery for us. We wanted a space to represent the energy, telling the world that we’re ‘here for the kicks’ – to celebrate the process of creation and all the emotions that come with it. At its heart, this flagship reflects Superkicks’ dedication to nurturing the community that has defined us. It’s where product, passion, and purpose unite – a space built to spark dialogue, fuel expression, and bring creative culture to life.”
The store also houses The Wholesome Pantry café by I Am Wholesome India, founded by sisters Manpreet and Anupreet Dhody. Known for their creative approach to food, they offer a curated menu that complements the store’s ethos of creativity, community, and quality.
Designed in collaboration with Restore Design, the new Superkicks flagship is set to host live music, brand events, exclusive drops, and activations, making it a hub for Mumbai’s creative communities.
