Skincare brand SkinInspired raises Rs 24 crore in Series A funding

Dermaceutical skincare brand SkinInspired has raised Rs 24 crore in a Series A funding round led by Spring Marketing Capital. The round also saw participation from the Lotus Herbals Beauty Innovation Fund and Arihant Patni of Patni Financial Advisors, along with existing investor Unilever Ventures.

The company said the capital will be deployed towards strengthening research and product innovation, brand-building initiatives, and expanding its team. SkinInspired currently works closely with dermatologists and operates in the efficacy-led skincare segment, focusing on products positioned as clinically tested and formulation-driven.

Founded by Piyush Jain along with dermatologist Dr. Prashant Agrawal, SkinInspired operates in the premium skincare space and emphasises transparency, ingredient quality, and so-called “clean beauty” standards.

Piyush Jain, Founder and CEO, SkinInspired, said, “This funding round further cements SkinInspired as a brand that is raising the bar in the Indian skincare market. Our partnership with 200+ dermatologists, the high repeats of our products, and backing by marquee investors show the trust all stakeholders have placed in the brand. The proceeds from this round will mainly be allocated towards research and innovation, brand building, and team expansion.”

Dr. Prashant Agrawal, Senior Dermatologist, Co-founder and Chief Product Officer, added, “With SkinInspired, we aim to stay ahead in formulations, ingredient quality and overall experience, and deliver true Delta 4 products.”

Spring Marketing Capital’s early-stage investment arm has backed the company’s vision of building a results-focused skincare brand from India, while Unilever Ventures’ continued participation signals investor interest in the fast-growing dermaceutical category.

Antara Raychaudhury, Head of Investments – Early Spring, Spring Marketing Capital, said, “We are delighted to partner with SkinInspired, which offers Indian consumers an upgrade in terms of both efficacy and experience, and has all the right ingredients to become a global beauty brand.”

Apart from institutional investors, the brand is also supported by several angel investors, including Arjun Vaidya, Ruchi Kohli, Chinmaya Goyal, Ana Kapur, Jivraj Singh Sachar and Swapnil Sheth.
