Reliance Retail’s premium fashion brand AZORTE has expanded its footprint to Kolkata, unveiling its first-ever standalone high-street store in India at Elgin Road in the city’s Bhowanipore neighbourhood.
The two-storey, 10,000 sq. ft. store stocks women’s wear, men’s wear, kidswear and accessories, with collections positioned around sustainable fabrics and elevated everyday styles aimed at Gen Z shoppers.
The Kolkata outlet brings with it a suite of in-store technology that AZORTE has made a signature of its retail experience. Shoppers will find RFID and QR code-enabled inventory management designed to keep sizes and products consistently in stock, smart trial rooms offering real-time outfit recommendations, and self-checkout counters for faster billing.
With the Kolkata opening, AZORTE now operates 42 stores across India.
