Paris-based jewellery brand Messika has launched its first standalone boutique in India, located at The Chanakya Mall in New Delhi, as announced by an official press release by the brand.
Messika is a Paris-based fine jewellery brand founded in 2005 by Valérie Messika, daughter of renowned diamond dealer André Messika. Known for its contemporary, minimalist designs and innovative use of diamonds, the brand aims to make diamond jewellery wearable for everyday occasions.
Spanning 68 square meters, the new boutique showcases a wide range of Messika’s offerings, including everyday jewellery, Fine Jewellery, and High-end Jewellery collections. The store features the brand’s well-known Move line, alongside one-of-a-kind pieces. The design of the boutique combines marble, gold accents, and textured interiors to reflect a modern, Parisian aesthetic.
The opening marks the brand’s official entry into the Indian market and comes in conjunction with its twentieth anniversary.
“Making a debut in India has always been a dream of mine, and the fact that it aligns with the Maison’s anniversary makes it all the more special – it truly feels like a dream come true,” said Valérie Messika, Founder and Artistic Director of Maison Messika.
Messika’s new journey in India is more than just an expansion, it is a meeting point of cultures, where India’s deep-rooted love for jewels blends seamlessly with Parisian creativity and flair, the press release stated.
This launch also marks a milestone in Messika’s partnership with Ethos Limited, India’s largest luxury watches retailer. Ethos has played a key role in establishing the boutique and will continue to support the brand’s expansion in the country.
Ethos, established in 2003, currently operates 81 boutiques across 24 Indian cities and represents over 70 luxury and premium watch brands. It recently diversified into jewellery retail with Messika and also serves as the exclusive Indian retailer for German luggage brand RIMOWA.
