KKCL opens first family store in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra

Kewal Kiran Clothing Limited (KKCL), the company behind the Killer denim brand, has opened its first family store format in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (formerly Aurangabad), bringing together three of its brands — Killer, Kraus and Junior Killer — under a single roof.

The move marks a shift in strategy for the Mumbai-based apparel maker, which has long been associated primarily with denim, as it pushes to position itself as a full-fledged lifestyle fashion player catering to men, women and children alike.

The new outlet houses menswear, womenswear and kidswear in one location, allowing shoppers to browse across categories without visiting separate stores. The launch forms part of KKCL’s broader retail expansion plan, which has been targeting markets it sees as having strong growth potential.

Central to the new format are Kraus, the company’s women’s fashion label, and Junior Killer, its kidswear line, both of which the company is positioning as growth drivers alongside Killer’s established base in casualwear and denim. By housing multiple brands together, KKCL is aiming to increase average basket sizes and deepen customer engagement, part of a longer-term plan to evolve into a multi-category, multi-generational fashion house.
