Fashion Retail industry veteran Jayanti Ganguly has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Home Centre, the home retailing arm of Landmark Group India, effective September 2025. She takes over at a crucial time for the brand, which has been undergoing a major digital and operational transformation under its previous leadership.
A Strong Retail Pedigree
Ganguly brings over two decades of experience across fashion, lifestyle, and retail, spanning leadership roles at Myntra, Flipkart, Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail Ltd. (ABFRL), and Nike.
Most recently, she was Vice President at Myntra, where over a span of more than three years she helmed various portfolios including Apparel, Footwear, International Brands (Fashion & Beauty), Marketplace, and Omni. During this period, she drove category growth, strengthened the international fashion play, and advanced Myntra’s omni-channel strategy.
Before Myntra, she briefly led Fashion & General Merchandise (B2B) at Flipkart, sharpening her expertise in digital-first commerce.
At ABFRL, Ganguly made her mark with marquee brands. As Assistant Vice President of Louis Philippe (2018–2021), she expanded the portfolio beyond formals into casuals, jeanswear, and sneakers, launched ethnic (Maharaja), athleisure (Ath.Play), and activewear lines, and repositioned the brand strongly in weddingwear. Prior to this, as AVP of Van Heusen Retail (2017–2018), she spearheaded a dramatic turnaround by reimagining consumer experience, store identity, and women’s wear offerings.
Her earlier stints include Nike India (2013–2017), where she was Head of Retail & Business Planning and Brand Merchandising Manager – Footwear, designing channel strategies for digital, ecommerce, and wholesale. She began her career at Madura Fashion & Lifestyle (2005–2013) with roles spanning retail operations, buying, merchandising, and product management, eventually becoming Product Head – Louis Philippe. She started as a management trainee with the Aditya Birla Group in 2004 after campus placement from NIFT Bengaluru.
