AZORTE, Reliance Retail’s premium fashion and lifestyle brand, has opened its first store in Chandigarh, at Nexus Elante Mall, marking another step in its expansion across North India.
The Chandigarh outlet is AZORTE’s 44th store in the country, continuing the brand’s push into new markets with its “neostore” retail format, which combines fashion with technology-driven shopping features.
Actor Tania cut the ribbon at the launch event and later met fans and shoppers at the store. Her appearance added to the celebratory atmosphere of the opening, which organisers said reflected the brand’s community-focused approach.
The new store stocks womenswear, menswear, kidswear, and accessories, with a range described as blending international trends with Indian sensibilities, aimed at style-conscious shoppers who want individuality alongside current trends.
As with its other locations, the Chandigarh store includes AZORTE’s technology-led retail features:
- RFID and QR code systems for inventory tracking and assisted shopping
- Smart trial rooms that offer styling suggestions
- Self-checkout counters for quicker billing
AZORTE describes itself as India’s only ‘neostore’ format for fashion retail. With the Chandigarh launch, the brand said it aims to build a deeper connection with shoppers in the region.
