After helping shape how brands across South Asia understand consumers, trends and changing markets for well over a decade, Puneet Dudeja has been elevated to Partner at The Knowledge Company (TKC), taking on a wider leadership role within one of India’s most respected management consulting firms.
The elevation comes at a time when businesses across retail, fashion, consumer goods and allied sectors are rethinking growth strategies amid rapidly evolving consumer expectations, technological disruption and new market realities. For TKC, it brings into its leadership team a professional whose career has consistently revolved around one central theme—helping organisations make better business decisions through deeper consumer understanding.
A Career Built at the Intersection of Insight and Strategy
Over the past 17 years, Dudeja has built an uncommon blend of consulting expertise, commercial leadership and consumer intelligence.
He began his professional journey with Technopak Advisors, where he worked on market research, consumer behaviour and strategic consulting assignments across retail and consumer businesses. Those formative years exposed him to market entry strategies, private equity assignments, sourcing optimisation and business transformation, laying the foundation for a career centred on insight-led decision making.
He later moved to Riverwild Retail, where he headed the Brands & Retail business for internationally recognised children’s brands including Marvel, Mattel and Nickelodeon. Managing responsibilities across sourcing, manufacturing, product strategy, marketing, distribution and retail partnerships gave him first-hand experience of building brands in India’s fast-evolving consumer market.
This combination of consulting and operational experience would eventually become one of his greatest professional strengths.
Building WGSN’s South Asia Business
The defining chapter of Dudeja’s career has undoubtedly been his long association with WGSN, the global authority on trend forecasting and consumer intelligence, whose India business has long been represented by The Knowledge Company.
Leading WGSN’s South Asia business for more than 11 years, he worked closely with leading organisations across fashion, retail, beauty, home, consumer technology and food, helping leadership teams understand changing consumer behaviour, identify emerging opportunities and convert market intelligence into strategic action.
His work extended well beyond business development. He advised CXOs and business leaders on growth strategy, collaborated with global research, product and marketing teams, built enterprise partnerships across the region and represented WGSN at industry forums, contributing to discussions on the future of retail, fashion and consumer markets.
Throughout this period, Dudeja earned recognition for simplifying complex consumer and cultural shifts into practical business insights that organisations could confidently act upon.
An Expanded Leadership Role
As Partner at The Knowledge Company, Dudeja’s responsibilities now broaden considerably.
Working alongside Founder and Chairman Arvind Singhal and the firm’s leadership team, he will help shape strategic growth initiatives, strengthen global partnerships and develop consulting solutions that connect consumer behaviour, industry intelligence and emerging opportunities with practical business action.
His mandate spans business strategy, market development, consumer insights, thought leadership and innovation, while continuing to strengthen TKC’s advisory capabilities across retail, consumer goods, manufacturing and services.
Founded on its “Concept to Commissioning” philosophy, The Knowledge Company has built its reputation by helping organisations identify high-value opportunities, solve complex business challenges and create scalable, future-ready business models. Dudeja’s elevation reinforces the firm’s commitment to combining deep industry knowledge with execution-oriented consulting.
‘Every Chapter Teaches Us Something’
Reflecting on his new responsibilities, Dudeja believes every stage of a professional journey contributes valuable learning.
“Every chapter in our careers teaches us something. The privilege lies in carrying those learnings forward while embracing new opportunities and greater responsibilities.”
For him, becoming Partner represents a larger responsibility rather than simply a new designation.
“This isn’t just a new title—it is a commitment to contribute more meaningfully to building the future of The Knowledge Company, creating greater value for our clients and helping shape ideas that enable businesses to navigate an ever-changing world with confidence.”
He also acknowledged the trust and mentorship of Arvind Singhal, expressing his enthusiasm about working alongside colleagues Ankur Bisen, Ravindra Yadav, Madhulika Tiwari, Khushboo Chugh and Parmesh Chopra as TKC continues to expand its leadership position in management consulting.
Connecting Consumer Change with Business Growth
One thought has consistently guided Dudeja’s work over the years.
Understanding consumers, he believes, is no longer enough. The real challenge is understanding what changing consumer behaviour means for business decisions.
Whether advising retailers, fashion brands, consumer companies or emerging businesses, his focus has remained on helping organisations move from insight to action—interpreting market signals, identifying growth opportunities and translating ideas into executable strategies.
That philosophy has become increasingly relevant as businesses navigate shorter innovation cycles, digitally empowered consumers and rapidly changing competitive landscapes.
The Next Phase of Leadership
An Economics graduate from the University of Delhi and a PGDM in Finance and Marketing from the Birla Institute of Management Technology, Dudeja brings together analytical rigour, consulting expertise and practical business experience accumulated over nearly two decades.
His elevation to Partner reflects not only personal achievement but also the growing importance of insight-led consulting in today’s business environment. As organisations seek sharper consumer understanding and more agile growth strategies, leaders who can bridge market intelligence with business execution will play an increasingly critical role.
With his expanded mandate at The Knowledge Company, Puneet Dudeja is set to contribute to that next phase—helping businesses decode change, unlock opportunities and build resilient strategies for the future.
