Japanese apparel retailer UNIQLO opened its third store in Bengaluru on June 5, 2026, at Phoenix Marketcity mall. The outlet spans approximately 21,000 sq ft, making it the largest UNIQLO store in the city to date.
The store carries UNIQLO’s full LifeWear range — covering men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing — along with the brand’s fabric technology lines AIRism and HEATTECH. It also features a UTme! customisation section with designs by local collaborators, including work by Bengaluru-based artist Archana Pereira.
At the opening, the first 200 customers received a Round Mini Shoulder Bag and a complimentary coffee from Pauls. Shoppers spending ₹6,000 or more were given a free tote bag designed by Pereira.
“Customers in Bengaluru have embraced UNIQLO LifeWear with great warmth, and we’re proud to deepen our connection with the city through this new store. Our endeavour is to make thoughtfully designed everyday essentials more accessible, while creating a shopping experience that fits seamlessly into customers’ daily lives,” said Kenji Inoue, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer, UNIQLO India.
Designed to deliver a seamless and engaging shopping experience, the store features a modern retail layout alongside UNIQLO’s signature visual identity.
UNIQLO is Fast Retailing Co., Ltd. brand, which is a leading Japanese retail holding company with global headquarters in Tokyo, Japan.
Today the company operates a total of more than 2,500 UNIQLO stores across the world, including Japan, Asia, Europe and North America. The total number of stores across Fast Retailing’s brands is now over 3,500.
