Medical lifestyle brand Knya expands to UAE

Indian medical lifestyle brand Knya has entered the United Arab Emirates, marking its first step outside the domestic market and the beginning of its global expansion journey.

The move comes amid steady inbound demand from UAE-based healthcare professionals who have been accessing the brand through India and regional professional networks. Knya will offer its range of medical apparel—including scrubs, lab coats, aprons, jackets, medical hijabs and accessories—through a mix of distribution partnerships and direct-to-consumer channels, leveraging the digital and retail infrastructure it built in India.

The UAE is a strategic market for the brand due to its advanced healthcare ecosystem, high concentration of expatriate medical professionals and demand for performance-driven medical apparel. The inclusion of medical hijabs reflects Knya’s focus on functional design tailored to regional requirements.

Founded with a focus on proprietary textile engineering, Knya has scaled its fabric innovation in India to address long working hours, durability and climate-related discomfort faced by healthcare professionals. The brand plans to apply these learnings to international markets, adapting its fabric technology to meet global performance benchmarks.
