Converse has unveiled a festive-season exclusive — the Run Star Trainer embellished with Swarovski crystals — as part of its new Uncut Gems campaign. The launch celebrates India’s emerging female fashion creatives who are redefining style with bold, unapologetic expression.
The campaign features five women-led brands: Shivani Boruah (Our Own Pace), Nyapi Ngomdir (Sour Saint), Meher Toor (Ada), Ankita Chouhan aka Akky (Cybrbride), and Jane Meliora Mankin Sangma (20future), highlighting innovation, inclusivity, and experimentation in contemporary Indian fashion.
The sneaker itself features a Deep Emerald satin and suede upper, accented with Swarovski crystals of varying sizes on the sides, a translucent gum outsole, and a three-layer memory foam sockliner. Only 24 pairs will be available in India, underscoring its exclusivity.
The Run Star Trainer with Swarovski crystals will retail for Rs 12,499 and is available on converse.in and at the Converse standalone store in Mumbai.
