UNIQLO launches new campaign with cricket legend Rahul Dravid

Global apparel retailer UNIQLO has unveiled its latest campaign, ‘Everyday Wear for Mr. Dependable’, featuring cricket legend Rahul Dravid. The campaign showcases UNIQLO’s LifeWear philosophy—clothing designed with simplicity, comfort, and quality—through two of its core products: the AIRism Polo Shirt and the Super Non Iron Shirt.

Speaking about the campaign, Rahul Dravid said, “Being a part of the UNIQLO campaign is special as it reflects both sides of who I am in my regular daily life. I’ve always believed in keeping things simple and consistent, in sports and in life. UNIQLO fits into every version of my day – it’s simple, comfortable and functional.

Two Sides of Dravid

In the film, Dravid appears in a playful split-screen narrative: on-field as a coach in the breathable AIRism Polo Shirt, and off-field as a family man in the crisp Super Non Iron Shirt. The dual portrayal highlights how UNIQLO clothing is both dependable and versatile, seamlessly fitting into different moments of the day.

Campaign Rollout and Store Launch

The 360° campaign will run across digital, social media, CRM, in-store and outdoor platforms starting August 18. Adding a tech-driven twist, UNIQLO will introduce an AR (augmented reality) activation at its new Orion Mall, Brigade Gateway, Bengaluru store, launching on August 29. The interactive zone will allow customers to engage with a life-sized virtual version of Rahul Dravid.

Currently, UNIQLO operates more than 2,500 stores worldwide across Japan, Asia, Europe, and North America, while the total Fast Retailing store count exceeds 3,600. The company continues to expand its global presence with large-format stores in key cities.
