Underneat enters comfortwear category, taps Sonam Bajwa as the face of the campaign

Underneat, Indian premium solution wear brand founded by creator Kusha Kapila and fashion veteran Vimarsh Razdan, today announced its entry into the comfortwear category with the launch of the CoolRest Collection. The campaign is fronted by actor Sonam Bajwa.

The CoolRest collection marks Underneat’s first move beyond shapewear. The brand said the collection is designed for the quieter moments of everyday life — lounging, travelling, sleeping, recovering, or simply doing nothing at all. The accompanying campaign reframes comfort not as something one arrives at after a long day, but as something worth having from the moment one gets dressed.

The line is built around bamboo fabric, which the brand says is thermoregulating, breathable and moisture-wicking — positioning it as an upgrade on cotton under the tagline “Coolrest collection, cooler than cotton.” The five pieces — a Scoop Bralette, Slip-on Bra, Briefs, Boy Shorts and Camisole — are wire-free with no hardware.

“With CoolRest, we wanted to start a conversation about comfort as a state of mind, not just a product feature,” said co-founders Kusha Kapila and Vimarsh Razdan. “The campaign celebrates slowing down, embracing ease and finding comfort in everyday moments. Every element of the collection was designed to support that idea, and Sonam was the perfect partner because she embodies the effortless confidence and authenticity that sit at the heart of CoolRest.”

CoolRest is priced from Rs 1,299 and is available on Underneat’s website as well as marketplace partners including Nykaa, Myntra, Amazon and Blinkit.
