The Pant Project teams up with Shoppers Stop for first MBO partnership

The Pant Project, a brand specialising in bottom wear, has forged its first-ever multi-brand outlet (MBO) partnership with Shoppers Stop, as announced by a company official on LinkedIn.

This collaboration with Shoppers Stop, one of India’s key multi-brand retailers, marks a significant step for The Pant Project in expanding its physical retail presence.

Initially, customers can find The Pant Project at five Shoppers Stop locations: R City Mall (Ghatkopar, Mumbai), Viviana Mall (Thane, Mumbai), Linking Road (Bandra, Mumbai), Elpro Mall (Pune), and Bannerghatta Road (Bangalore).

According to Dhruv Toshniwal, CEO of The Pant Project, all categories available on their website and in their own stores will be sold at Shoppers Stop. The brand will maintain consistent pricing across all channels and will also offer exclusive launch offers at Shoppers Stop. Free alterations will also be provided.

“Early feedback we have gotten on the floor has been that most brands focus 70-80% on top wear, so its refreshing to have a brand that focuses so deeply on bottom wear. It’s a clear white space in the market. Our brand promise stays the same. The most comfortable pants in your wardrobe. We started with 5 outlets with Shoppers, we’ll build on this partnership, and before you know it, we will hopefully be coming soon across India. Excited to be expanding our physical and digital retail footprint to be closer to you,” Toshniwal wrote on social media.

The Pant Project currently operates 9 physical stores and sells its products through its own website and various online marketplaces.
