Technosport, a leading Indian activewear brand, has become the first in South India to integrate KARL MAYER HKS-3M Tricot warp knitting machines into its production, marking a major leap in sportswear innovation and sustainability.
The brand unveiled its DuraCool+ warp-knitting technology at an exclusive Open House event at its Perundurai megafactory, in collaboration with KARL MAYER and A.T.E. Over 100 industry professionals from Tirupur, Erode, and Coimbatore attended, witnessing live demonstrations of advanced warp-knitted fabric production for activewear.
“We are proud to partner with KARL MAYER to bring cutting-edge technology to India. As demand for synthetic materials grows, warp knitting is set to gain significant traction,” said Sunil Jhunjhunwala, Co-founder, Technosport.
Technosport’s investment in tricot warp knitting paves the way for its upcoming all-day pants collection, blending woven durability with knit flexibility. The event highlighted the brand’s commitment to high-performance, sustainable activewear, reinforcing its position as a game-changer in the Indian sportswear industry.
