Swiss Beauty enters UAE market with Modist Global partnership

Leading homegrown makeup brand Swiss Beauty has announced its international foray through a strategic partnership with Modist Global, a Dubai-based cross-border D2C enablement company that helps brands expand globally.

The collaboration marks Swiss Beauty’s entry into the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region, beginning with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) — a USD 10 billion beauty market (Statista) and one of the most dynamic in the world. The move comes amid a surge in Indian D2C and retail brands exploring global markets, driven by improved trade, tech, and logistics ecosystems.

Out of the UAE’s 12 million residents, nearly 70% comprise the South Asian diaspora — a community with high disposable income and strong purchasing power. It’s an audience that not only connects deeply with Indian brands but also values quality and familiarity at a global standard. We’re part of a new generation of Indian brands built for global consumers, and the GCC is a natural next step in that vision. Through Modist Global, Swiss Beauty will enter the UAE market within 21 days — a process that traditionally takes several months. Modist Global provides end-to-end support across compliance, logistics, and distribution, enabling the brand to reduce setup costs by up to 40% while maintaining full control over pricing, assortment, and consumer experience.

Established as a key player in India’s USD 6.9 billion cosmetics industry (Statista), Swiss Beauty has built a strong following for its high-quality, trend-focused products at accessible price points. With over 400 SKUs spanning makeup, skincare, and beauty tools, the brand has consistently bridged the gap between premium quality and everyday affordability.

Swiss Beauty’s debut range in the UAE will feature some of its most popular products — including HD Matte Lipsticks, Ultra Blush Palette, and Liquid Eyeshadows — available across leading e-commerce platforms such as  Amazon and Noon, and offline retail stores and pharmacies.
