Indian sock brand Supersox has launched a new sushi-themed socks collection, tapping into a growing appetite for culturally inspired fashion accessories among Indian consumers.
The Sushi Socks collection draws on Japanese culture for its design language, featuring vibrant sushi-inspired motifs across each pair. Made from combed cotton, the socks offer a soft, silky texture with a subtle sheen — a departure from the utilitarian aesthetic typically associated with everyday hosiery.
The brand is positioning the launch at the intersection of comfort, design, and gifting. Each pack contains two premium pairs, packaged in an elegant takeaway box designed to evoke the presentation of a Japanese takeout order. “We wanted to put a little ‘umami’ in your wardrobe,” the company said.
The collection is unisex with a universal fit, and is manufactured in India using Italian machinery — a detail the brand highlights as central to its quality promise. Supersox says the socks are suited to daily wear, from commutes to evenings out.
Priced at Rs 1,599, the collection is available at a launch price of Rs 999 on the brand’s website and major online retail platforms.
