Soch crosses Rs 500 cr revenue mark, records 65% surge in online sales in FY26

Soch, an Indian evening-occasion ethnic wear brand for women, has crossed Rs 500 crore in revenue for FY26 — a milestone that places it among a small group of Indian fashion retailers to reach that scale without outside funding. The Bengaluru-based brand remains bootstrapped and EBITDA positive.

Offline retail remains the core of the business. Rather than aggressively opening new stores, Soch has taken a selective approach — reinforcing locations that perform and closing those that don’t. The brand now operates 175-plus stores across 70-plus cities in India, Canada and Malaysia, with management focused on driving same-store growth through better conversions and higher average ticket sizes.

The bigger story this year is digital. Soch’s e-commerce business hit Rs 88 crore in FY26, up 65% year on year, and now accounts for 18% of total revenue. Over five years, the online channel has compounded at 56% annually; the company is projecting 40% annual growth over the next four years.

In stores, digital catalogues and assisted-shopping tools give customers access to a wider range than any single location could physically carry — what the company calls an “endless aisle” model.

AI-driven demand forecasting, product intelligence tools and automated workflows are also being rolled out to improve inventory accuracy and speed up decision-making.

Vinay Chatlani, CEO and Co-Founder, said, “This milestone reflects the strength of our brand, the consistency of our execution, and our commitment to building a sustainable business. We have scaled thoughtfully—balancing offline expansion with strong digital growth—while remaining EBITDA positive. The next phase of growth will be driven by deeper Omni channel integration, expansion into new trade channels, and continued investment in product innovation and technology.”

Looking ahead, Soch plans to expand into large-format stores, multi-brand outlets and new international markets, alongside product line extensions. The core ethnic wear range — sarees, salwar suits, kurtas and lehengas — will remain central to the offering.
