Réia Diamonds, one of India’s fastest-growing lab-grown diamond jewellery brands, has raised Rs 2 crore in a pre-seed funding round to expand its engagement ring and everyday jewellery collections, strengthen its retail and omnichannel presence, and drive product innovation. In just two years, the brand has built three profitable stores across Bengaluru, Guwahati, and Coimbatore, demonstrating strong unit economics and disciplined growth.
A cornerstone of Réia’s approach is its successful franchise model, which enables rapid expansion while maintaining profitability. The new investment will accelerate retail growth, strengthen omnichannel presence, and deepen innovation across engagement rings and versatile everyday jewellery—making diamond ownership more accessible and aspirational for modern Indian consumers.
The round was led by Dinesh Talera and family, founders of Mysore Saree Udyog, alongside Venture Catalysts, a leading early-stage investment platform. Mr. Talera brings decades of expertise in scaling retail brands, while Venture Catalysts supports startups in achieving rapid growth and market traction.
Réia Diamonds will deploy the capital to expand retail presence, enhance omnichannel offerings, and continue innovating in engagement rings and everyday jewellery—offering modern, minimal, and meaningful designs. The lab-grown diamond market in India is estimated at $300–350 million in 2024, projected to grow at ~15% CAGR over the next decade, reflecting rising demand for accessible, ethical, and contemporary jewellery.
