The House of Monture has entered the Indian fashion landscape shaped by a remarkable 75-year legacy in fabrics and textiles, carrying forward knowledge refined across generations. Emerging from a fifth-generation textile lineage, the house approaches clothing through fibre, weave and finish long before a silhouette is ever conceived.
For decades, the textile house behind the label has quietly influenced global fashion from behind the scenes, supplying finely crafted fabrics to international houses including Ralph Lauren, and Inditex Group. With Monture, that deep textile expertise steps into the spotlight, translating fabric knowledge into garments.
The brand’s debut Spring/Summer 2026 collection reflects this philosophy. It is defined by exceptional natural materials: European linen in plain, twill and herringbone structures, Supima cotton yarns, cotton-silk knits, bamboo-hemp blends, and pure hemp fabrics. Monture is also among the few houses in India working with 100% hemp and 100% linen, pushing the conversation around natural textiles forward.
Silhouettes remain composed and deliberate, allowing the textile to define structure and movement. Details are restrained, finishes are controlled, and construction is guided by a simple belief: what touches the skin must feel exceptional.
“For us, clothing begins long before the garment exists,” the house notes. “It begins with fibre, with yarn, with the way a textile breathes and moves. Monture was never conceived as a design-led label. Every garment begins with fabric.”
Monture’s debut collection was unveiled at an intimate launch, where guests, creators and members of the fashion community were introduced to Monture’s world, one defined by refined tailoring, contemporary silhouettes and a quiet elegance that does not demand attention, but naturally commands it.
With its fabric-first philosophy, Monture aims to quietly reshape the idea of modern staples and classics, bringing a textile-driven perspective to everyday luxury.
