New Balance expands Bengaluru footprint with three new stores

New Balance has strengthened its footprint in Bengaluru with the launch of three new stores across Indiranagar, HSR Layout and Forum South Bengaluru, marking a significant step in the brand’s retail expansion in India. With this, the global athletic brand further deepens its presence in one of the country’s most fitness-forward cities.

The new stores offer New Balance’s signature premium retail experience, blending performance innovation with contemporary design and showcasing the brand’s latest footwear and apparel collections.

To mark the launch, the brand hosted an exclusive in-store event at its Indiranagar outlet, giving visitors a hands-on, immersive look at its newest offerings. The celebrations continued with a community-focused initiative through the New Balance Run Club, which organised a 5K run starting and ending at the store. The event drew more than 200 participants, including first-time runners and seasoned athletes, underscoring the brand’s growing engagement with Bengaluru’s fitness community.

Radeshwer Davar, Country Manager, New Balance India, shared his enthusiasm for the launch, stating, “We are excited to deepen our presence in Bengaluru — with our stores at Brigade Road, Indiranagar, Forum Mall and HSR, anchoring us in a city that embodies innovation, culture, and an unwavering passion for fitness. This weekend’s in-store experience and community run allowed us to bring New Balance’s philosophy to life while reinforcing our commitment to building inclusive fitness communities and we want to thank the people of Bengaluru who turned up in great spirit. Over the past year, we’ve more than doubled our retail footprint in India, and these 3 new stores are a strong testament to that momentum. For us, it’s not just about expanding retail locations — it’s about creating experiential centres that bring innovation, performance, and style together under one roof.”

Headquartered in Boston and independent since 1906, New Balance reported global sales of $7.8 billion in 2024 and employs 10,000 people worldwide. The company operates six footwear factories in the U.S. and U.K. and continues to build on its legacy of craftsmanship and community-focused sport.
