In his new role, Soundalgekar will lead project execution across Metro Brands’ expanding retail and infrastructure footprint, strengthening delivery efficiencies while aligning projects with the company’s long-term growth strategy. His mandate includes driving operational excellence, strengthening cross-functional collaboration, and embedding sustainability-led best practices across developments.
With over three decades of experience spanning project management, design development, sustainability, and facility management, Soundalgekar has previously worked with leading organisations such as Raymond, Shoppers Stop, and Tata AIG. His expertise covers the execution of large-scale retail, commercial, industrial, warehouse, and residential projects across India and international markets.
At Metro Brands, he will focus on optimising project turnaround time, cost efficiencies, and quality benchmarks, while supporting innovation-led store formats and customer-centric environments. A strong advocate of sustainable development, Soundalgekar brings hands-on experience in materiality assessments, stakeholder alignment, and the execution of sustainability roadmaps with measurable business impact.
