Max Fashion launches Lilo & Stitch collection in collaboration with Disney

Max Fashion has unveiled its latest kidswear, teens, and youth collection inspired by Disney’s much-loved classic Lilo & Stitch. Launched ahead of the film’s theatrical release, the collection brings the Aloha spirit alive with playful prints, bright colours, and island-inspired designs.

This marks the 9th edition of Max Fashion’s successful collaboration with Disney, following previous popular collections inspired by The Jungle Book, Disney Princesses, Star Wars, Guardians of the Galaxy, and more.

“This isn’t our first time working together, our relationship with Disney goes way back,” Sumit Chandna, Deputy CEO of Max Fashion, said. “Taking inspiration from cult classics always helps kids connect with the collection in a big way. And after so many incredible collaborations with Disney, it feels less like a partnership and more like a creative friendship — we just get each other.”

The new Lilo & Stitch line was launched on May 24 at a vibrant event held in Megumi, Mumbai. The showcase featured a lively fashion walk with mom influencers and their kids, capturing the tropical spirit of the movie. Actress Bipasha Basu walked as the showstopper, highlighting the collection’s whimsical movie-inspired elements, summery palette of oranges, breezy blues, greens, and pastels.

“Movie Licensing Merchandise is honestly such a big and exciting part of any project, and it’s also such a great way for both of us to level up our marketing game, especially when our audience overlaps,” Priya Nijhara, Director, Disney consumer products of the Walt Disney Company, said. “It’s a win-win for both the brands.”

The collection is now available across 520+ Max stores in India and online at maxfashion.com.
